HEY, whoever is leaving me comments on my entries, im sorry but i simply can't see them! tag me instead! :)

anyway, know this is long overdue, since i still have a few hours to spare before work, i'll blog about my batam trip!

DAY ONE.
met at harbourfront ferry terminal at 7 in the morning, (roars) yours truly looking very tired and unglam, so i refused to take any photos! (argh, i just realised the photos we got ppl to take for us when we first arrived were ALL GONE! i rephrase, all the photos taken on DAY ONE were all gone. thanks to the boyf. roars) our ferry was scheduled at 7.50am, batam is an hour behind singapore time, so we got there at about 8 in the morning, went to check in at our hotel, and we were the only two who were all hyped up, the rest were simply looking super glum. how on earth they manage to look that way, i don't know.

so after checking in, we went into our room - 424. -.-! he can't believe our room number, cos he says in canto, it's pretty unlucky! -.- (his parents are from hk, you see) then we crashed till about 11! went to get my shower before waking him up, and then when he's done showerin, we headed down to harris cafe for our complimentary pizza! :D yummy! very thin crust pizza, with pineapple, ham, chicken bits, and lots of cheese! :D

then it's back to our hotel room to get our bags before heading to nagoya hill! took the shuttle at 230pm. first day was pretty slow-paced for us. went there simply to check out the massage places, but it wasn't fantastic at all! -.- loads of overpriced shopping for ladies. got a dress for 30sgd!! simply cos my boyf loves it. -.- roars. he got a few tops, very affordable for guys' clothings. returned for the hotel at 530. then went back to the room to rest for an hour before heading to the nearby seafood place, delima. (my friend's recommendation) it's not considered cheap, just look at the portions. -.- we ordered 5 dishes served, in small portions. and when i say small, it's REALLY DAMN SMALL. imagine, we ordered butter prawns (small) and there were only 4 prawns! -.-!! super stunned when we saw the portions. -.-! he had to order 3 bowls of rice, before feeling full! hahahah! oh, ordered black pepper crab, very huge and cheap, but NOT FRESH. -.- kangkong was cheap, hahha, 2.80sgd, but super spicy. the chicken was worse -.- 3 pieces of chicken only. oh, but i love the hotplate tofu! :D the delight of the day! hahah :D the meal cost about 30sgd.

then we cabbed back to our hotel, one thing i must say about HARRIS RESORT, the service is BRILLIANT! :D really! i don't usually rave about hotels' services, but theirs, pretty much ONE OF THE KIND. fantastic! got back our hotel abt half past ten, then after showering, slept at 12-ish.

DAY TWO.
and you know what, we had to wake up 7 in the morning the next day!!! :( i hate my boyf lah, he's pretty much my opposite. (he used to wake up damn early like 5-ish, 6, but ever since we got tgt, haha, he wakes up at 10-ish, 11. ooops) but i got up before him, cos i take a longer time to prepare! -.- lazed about in my bed, and finally got up at 8. roars. still damn early for me! :( went to harris cafe for our complimentary breakfast! :D buffet style! but i don't eat much in the morning :( what a pity. the sillyboy enjoyed his breakfast! 3 rounds of breakfast. HAHAH! now you know he's a pig! and he did the sweetest thing ever, haha he knows i don't have much of an appetite. i thought he was gonna get more food for himself, and he came back with a bowl of porridge that looks so damn appetizing! ;p he added the ingredients in himself. :)) i was pretty surprised. HAHA. okay, though it was alittle salty, but it's the thought that counts, ryte? :p

the super sweet pancake. my boyf's damn cute, he doesn't like snacking and stuff, but he loves his food with loads of maple syrup!
the tranquility of weekdays.
my breakfast! :D
the porridge, with love.

so after breakfast, we decided to go for a swim! hahah, okay i didn't exactly swim cos i had my contacts on, he swam. i was just lazing in the pool. :D i always get rashes on my legs if i get into the pool, thank goodness i didn't develop rashes this time! else it would have been a bummer. took loads of photos, then we got out of the water to suntan! :D i DID become darker okay! even if it's just slightly so. ;p my boyf's already damn tanned, so when we were done suntanning, he was close to getting charred. HAHA! poor boyf. ;p
time for a swim! :D
very sotong me! i happily wore the hotel slippers out! -.-

went back to shower, change and went back to nagoya hill for our massage! :D oh, it's damn frigging scary crossing their roads okay, the motorists don't give a damn about the traffic signals. roars. thank goodness for my boyf! and we look so much like tourists that all the cars that pass by, honks at us. got me pretty annoyed. we wanted to try those roadside stalls, but our cab uncle advised us against it, he says it's very unhygienic, and that we might get discomfort after eating it. so we decided pretty much against it, but we still went to try the satay! hahaha how cheap can it be! 10 sticks + rice = 2sgd! (i later found out that in indonesia, that is already considered expensive; in most places, you get it at 1sgd)

finally decided on our massage parlour after so long! i had my traditional indonesian massage + foot reflexology. an hour each. he had an hour and a half of traditional indon massage. (he didn't want to do foot reflex cos he said it hurts, when i finally convinced him to take the same package as me, the guy said there's only one slot for foot reflex left!) -.- we were put in separate rooms, side by side. i had lots of fun chatting with my massueur, whilst my boyf was all silent in the other room! -.-
